100 Years of Scouting 2007
On 1 August 1907, Scouting’s Founder Robert Baden Powell blew his kudu horn on Brownsea Island at 8am to open the world’s first Scout Camp. One hundred years on and 28 million Scouts in all 216 countries are now involved in the Movement.
Willingham Scouts and Explorers (22  in number) are returning to Brownsea Island this August to celebrate the 100 years of Scouting.
