Following the appeal which was issued before Christmas we had an excellent response and many people attended the Extraordinary Meeting on December 5th 2006. Thank you to everyone who attended.
Several people volunteered to help and a new committee was formed.
Details are given below,
It has been decided that the General Committee will continue to have overall responsibility for the running of the Village Hall. However, In order to make day to day management easier, a separate management Committee has been established.
If anyone has any suggestions for functions,, fund raising activities, improvements to the hall or facilities or has any special skills which could bevolunteered please feel free to contact any

| 100 CLUB |
It was decided that in order to increase income, the format of the 100 Club draw would be altered. It was our intention that the number of tickets and the number and value of prizes will be doubled. Although we did not double our membership, we do now have more than 150 which means the prizes are as follows:
Monthly prizes of £30, £20 and £10.
The
November draw will have prizes of £100, 2 x £50, £30, £20, £10
The first draw under the new format was made on 1st June. If you do not have a ticket, please buy one this yearr! |
